- Enchanting, powerful and feminine like the moon from which it takes its name, Luna draws on Akoni's well-known fascination with the distinctive codes of classic cinema, harking back to the intriguing cat-eye silhouette of the early 20th century (a favourite accessory of top Hollywood and Cinema stylists and costume designers, the cat-eye made it possible to rejuvenate the faces of the greatest stars of the time).
Akoni designers have updated the enduring style, relying on the brand’s signature components – premium acetate and titanium from Japan – to deliver a truly modern cat-eye look, making the luxury eyewear brand’s dedication to perfecting even the smallest detail abundantly clear.
Like fine jewelry, each model pairs its crystal acetate hue with complementary gold highlights on the striking titanium nose bridge and custom rivets on the front and temples. Adding to its star power, the Luna’s elegantly translucent acetate allows for a captivating view of the titanium inner plate of each temple.
