Akoni's new collection for Balmain is clearly aligned with the unique DNA and easily recognizable codes of the historic Parisian Maison. The various gold details are reminiscent of the medallions and golden buttons with which Pierre Balmain signed his creations, as well as the place of honor that this shade occupies in Olivier Rousteing's fashion shows.
